If one thing Big Island delivers on its epic ocean side pools. From Tidepools, Hot Ponds, and beach side pools there is an amazing experience around every corner. The Ali'i Saltwater pool is located on Kona Side of the Big Island. It is filled by the tide of the pool making a real saltwater pool.

Just about a 10 min drive down the road from the Nakalee Lookout!

Here you can read more about the project. But because of this it has drew WAY more crowds than I thought possible. About 3/4 up the trail you will see these tidepools. There actually is a semi-marked path all the way down and is relatively easy!
