Welcome to the Siesta Key Beach! The small island of Sarasota off the coast of West Florida is home to some of the most beautiful beaches here in Florida. Perfect for play, relaxation, gatherings, and good ole fashion beach day fun.
What Makes This Beach So Great?
As you can see, the pure beauty of this beach makes you forget you are in Florida - ha! No shade to the Sunshine State but growing up with the Hawaiian beaches nothing can compare. Siesta Key is so great because it is SO BIG. Miles of beautiful white sandy beach. It is such gem to the community because of the volleyball courts, playground, vast parking - it is no wonder why it is popular all the time!
If you do find your self here in prime time - it may seem like you are doomed with a full parking lot. However this is your one chance to practice true patience! I promise people are constantly coming and going. You might see various ‘lines’ of cars waiting for parking, but I promise it goes quick! There really isn’t a whole lot of other parking around the area so best to wait it out. The beach is worth it :)

The best part of course is the water and shore line - but the city has done a wonderful job investing here to make it a beautiful park!
A full playground for kids,
Volleyball + Pickleball + Tennis courts on the beach,
miles of maintained shore line and plenty of life guard coverage for safety.
Public restrooms and showers
We are big into family picnics - and this is the perfect spot for them! They have both shaded and non-shaded tables with ocean views.
When is it open?
The beach and park are open from 6am until 10pm everyday
