Growing up I was always in awe of this Arc. It symbolized France for me and was in so many movies I loved growing up. To actually stand in front of it is surreal! It is in the heart of Paris and proudly sits in the middle of one of the busiest roundabouts in the city! There are no lanes and it truly just feels like a free for all so please be careful while driving here.
Did you know you can actually explore inside and on top of the Arc!? It is a full museum about the revolution and empire, plus you have a whole panoramic view of the city from up top. A pro tip - there is an underground walking tunnel that will take you to the Arc - DO NOT attempt to cross the street in the roundabout as this could be extremely dangerous.
