Fumis Shrimp Truck is the best shrimp on the island, and considered to be one of the original shrimp shacks on North Shore.They have a tons of shrimp flavors to choose from, cod, and chicken katsu if you don't like seafood! It's located the North Shore of Oahu.

They even have two trucks just down the road from each other because its so popular! It can get so busy, so they had to open up another one just down the road. There is lots of parking and space to eat at both locations. The origianl stand does have a few more shrimp flavors. 

It is a CASH ONLY business so make sure you have at lest $13 for a plate. The nearest ATM is a bit of a drive down the road, in one of the neighbooring stores. They have an adorable little sink to wash you hands at! But unfortunately do not have a bathroom. 

There is a fruit stand right next door that is also cash only, but has lots of really fresh fruits and juices that are delicious! I have had the pinapple and coconut juice and it is some of the best fresh juice I have ever had. 

One of the best things about Fumis is that they raise their own shrimp in a farm on site!! So you know they are fresh as can be and not full of any preservatives. I always get the garlic shrimp (below) and honestly is the best thing on the menu in my opinion if you love garlic. MMMM!

As you can see there is plenty of seats! But watch out some chickens might be trying to crash the party :)

how to get here

 

Located right off the 'highway' on North Shore. You will drive past Turtle Bay and see it on your left hand side. There is plenty of parking.
