On our last day in California we spent exploring some of Los Angeles! My most favorite thing was getting to see the Griffith Observatory. I had seen it on Instagram and Pinterest before and knew I had to put it on my list! And I will for sure be back because there was so much we didn't get to see and do there!
We went just in time to see the sunset, and Cali was really showing off for us! It was so pretty and California Golden Hour is real! The observatory sits on a small mountain so you really get a great view of the city on both sides, and can even see the ocean! The Hollywood sign sits to the right of the Observatory and it is on my bucket list to hike to the sign! I was going to this trip but we never seem to have the time for all of our planned fun! :)

At the observatory you can walk around the museum located inside, walk around the many trials located on the premises, hike to the Hollywood sign, see the telescopes and more! The grounds are free to enter, but I had no idea parking would be so crazy! It could have been because it is the holiday season and for sunset but we spent a good 15 minuets scouting a spot in the overflow space so be prepared for that! It is closed on Monday's but open Noon- 10:00pm Tuesday-Friday. On Saturday and Sunday it is open form 10:00am until 10:00pm. From 7:30-9:30 pm the telescope below is open for public veiwing! One of the main reasons I will be back is to see a Star Show there! Here is a full list of activates they have at the Observatory.
We had to buy so many sweaters on this trip! This one is so funny because we always are wearing the same shoes or shirts we got on trips! And just to set the record straight for those of you that saw his [rwong4] or mine [savannahr87] Snapchat I bought the sweater first! It was so funny everywhere we went people were awwing and laughing at us and we were actually so embarrassed if we ever went inside Rashawn would take his off!!
