Disneyland

Happiest Place on Earth

I was proudly the happiest 20 year old at Disneyland the other day. Rashawn was so sweet and got me tickets to Disneyland, California for Christmas because I have been wanting to go with him for so long! We got so lucky because we went just in time for to see the 60th Anniversary decorations still up, and the park was still decorated for Christmas as well so we got double the magic!!

Ok we really were so unprepared for this weather this trip because we really thought it wouldn't be this cold! It was actually pouring rain the first half of the day, but it almost made it better because there were barley any crowds or lines! But, we had to stop at Forever21 and Urban Outfitters to get some warm clothes! And Disney saved the day with Ponchos!

Even through the rain we were so giddy and excited to be at Disneyland! It's so much different coming to the park when you are older, and way fun when you get to come with your best friend! We kept looking around and seeing couples, kids, adults, friends, and people in general of all ages! It really is a magical place no matter the age :)

We were able to ride almost every single ride in the park, and a few even twice just because the lines were so short! A few rides such as the tea cups were closed unfortunately because of the rain, but we got plenty of thrills through Space Mountain, Matterhorn, Big Thunder Mountain, and more!

One of the best things about Disneyland was the Train, that takes you around the entire park and makes stop at the New Orleans Townsquare, Tomorrowland, Mikeys Toontown, and Main Street USA. It was great when you got cold, or if you have kids, or if your feet hurt! It's free and it is constantly running.

Like I said we were very lucky it was not that crowded so waiting in lines was not an issue for us! However when it is very busy I suggest getting FastPasses for your favorite rides! There are FastPast Distribution booths by most of the popular rides. You just select one, for free, and come back at the time on the ticket! The other great thing Disneyland offers is there App. I HIGHLY suggest downloading it because it has a GREAT map, tells you the wait times for all the rides, popular food spots, show times, and more! It's a Disneyland day saver!

This has always been my favorite ride, but I totally don't remember it being so fast!! It was so much fun!

Disneyland is iconic for its food! They have so so many amazing food stops and restaurants throughout the park! But be prepared they are Disneyland Prices! We enjoyed Popcorn, Mickey Beignet's, and Hot Chocolate! We exited the park for lunch to save money and enjoy Sonic which we don't have in Hawaii :)

The best part of the day was the fireworks hands down! It was the best fireowork show I have ever seen, like actually magical not to be cheesy! It was the 60th year celebration show and it was really breath taking!

Thank you Walt Disney for an amazing 60 years of fulfilling dreams and building the Happiest Place on Earth!
