Leonards Bakery

sweet treats on oahu

It's a cream puff, no it's a donut, no it's a MALASADA! This Oahu sweet treat is an iconic part to any trip to Hawaii. The bakery opened in 1952 selling a delicious array of sweet treats. Once the malasadas were introduced in 1953 Leonards became an iconic spot.

These mouth watering treats come in 6 standard flavors + 1 feature flavor of the month! Choose from: Original - Custard - Chocolate - Coconut - Li Hing - Cinnamon Sugar! This month's feature flavor is Mango, you can check more details + the flavor of the month here!

This talented chicka came to Hawaii for a family visit but we were able to link up through Instagram! Marina is not only an AMAZING photographer who took these shots, but she is such a genuine person captivating the creative world! Check out her stuff here or on her Instagram!  ( Seriously you will be blown away by her talent!!! )

The delicious Portugese tradition will have you craving a box all the time! They are best super fresh so make sure you enjoy them right away or warm them up if you can :) Like I mentioned this bakery does offer an array of other delicious sweets like cupcakes, pies, Pao Doce, cakes, and tons more! Here is a link to the full menu

The iconic Pink Box says it all! Being from Colorado I have the sweet pleasure of having Voodoo Donut and as they say, good things come in Pink Boxes :)
