Cruising on The Han River
Seoul has so many memorable opportunities, but one of my favorite was taking a small boat ride with Rashawn along the Han River. This river is home to so much beauty, firework shows, bike paths + parks and means so much to the community of Seoul. What better why to take it in than on the water itself.
Seoul is such a beautiful city with so much mix of traditional and modern beauty. The amazing Seoul Floating Island behind me is a mix of a few structures ‘floating’ out in the water - there are various restaurants, bars, and lookout points to see the beautiful Han River and famous bridges. There is a roped in area for the section you are allowed to cruise through! There are many companies and boat varations but we went with Tubster.
How Do You Book Tickets?
There is a little stand where operation takes place in front of the Gavit building. Here you can purchase your tickets and the staff will help you with the boat instructions and operations.
How Much Does It Cost?
30 Minuets: 35,000 won (or about $27)
60 Minuets: 55,000 won (or about $43)
This will cover one boat which can hold up to 6 people!
Should I Bring Anything?
The best part about this adventure is you can bring your own drinks and snacks and enjoy a picnic out on the river! It is so unique and defiantly something you should take advantage of to enjoy. We bought some local beers at the convince stand but feel free to bring aboard what you would like to enjoy!
